unable to open cmx file

Hi,
I have the latest version of Inkscape 0.92 on my computer. I am unable to open cmx file . Kindly help

to open a cmx file:

- Click on File > Open

- in the bottom right corner of the file dialog, choose the correct file format (Corel Draw Presentation Exchange file)

- select the file

- click on 'Open'

Now, what happens?

Hi, After following all the steps that you mentioned, I get the message
'Failed to load the requested file'

No, I can't, it's probably a bug with the software, or some version incompatibility of the file.

Now that we can rule out a user error, I would like to ask you to create a bug report where you append a file that has the issue, and include info about your Inkscape version (Help > About, copy-paste the full version info) and your operating system, and the origin of the file that does not open (how was it created? Or where did you get it from?).

It could be the same bug as this one:

If you know how to start Inkscape from the command line and to obtain error output (see item 3 of 'inkscape does not start' here: https://inkscape.org/en/learn/faq/#inkscape-does-not-start), you can see if your error is the same one, or if it's a different one. Else, with the file, we can try it out.
