Updated colours for map didn't take effect on Wikipedia

Asked by David Thornton

Hi there,

I wanted to update a map on Wikipedia showing the countries which have ratified the Paris Agreement.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_parties_to_the_Paris_Agreement

I downloaded Inkscape today and managed to change the colour for the countries needed quite easily (e.g. Macedonia, Mozambique and Tanzania). I then saved the new file with the changes and then uploaded the new file to the page. However, when the new file was uploaded, the colours were still the same as if I hadn't made any changes. I then went back to my SVG file and the colours are definitely updated as I wanted.

Can you please confirm if there's something I'm missing? I'm new to Inkscape so I'm sure I haven't done something right.

Thanks,
David

I've just noticed now that the update has been successful if you look at it on FireFox and Internet Explorer but not on Chrome. Why would this be? Thanks, David

Probably Chrome is caching the web page to save bandwidth. Try pressing Ctrl+F5 to force reload the page.

Thanks very much Hachmann. I tried that and it worked! Just a browser issue so.
