Can I specify Hex colors?

Coming to Inkscape from Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc so I am used to specifying color in HTML and Hex numbers. How can I select and add a Hex specification to my artwork?

In the fill & stroke dialog, hex code (RGBA) can be entered instead of using the sliders or wheel.
