how do create postage labels

I want to create address and product labels and print them out on 0n self-adhesive sheets. I have no idea how to do that or even where to start.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The tutorials in Inkscape's Help menu are a great place to start.

I'd take a few minutes to go through those tutorials and chime back with more specific questions after.
