Inkscape

I cannot see a scale option within the document properties box.

I am performing Procedure 1.1 Drawing the Swedish Flag. I need to set the Scale x to 1.0, but the Scale box shown in the tutorial does not appear within the Document Properties window under Custom Size as it is depicted in the manual.

I'd ensure you are using Inkscape version .92.0 or newer.

Hello,
Thanks for responding to my question. I guess I need to install Homebrew to
get Inkscape .92.0. I'm new to all of this, but I'll give it a go.

No, you need to install Inkscape from the Inkscape website to have Inkscape 0.92.2 on a Mac.

You can check your version at 'Help -> About' in Inkscape.
