Completely blocked with the hyperlinks that are created on another object than teh one selected

Asked by Celine

Hi all,
Could somebody please help me?
I use Inkscape mainly to add hyperlinks on pdf and then export to an .svg format.
>I open my pdf
>the I create a layer on top for the hyperlinks
>then I draw a rectangle on the top layer
>then I right-click and create hyperlink
and it usually works perfectly.
I don't know which wrong manipulation I did this morning, but I am now completly blocked.
I open my pdf, then add a layer on top,
then I draw a rectangle and right-clink to create the hyperlink on the top layer
but when I do that, Inkscape creates another object on the first layer (bottom layer) rather than on the hyperlink layer !

I am lost, how can I make sure the hyperlink is created on the selected object? could anybody help me with that please?
Thanks much,
Céline
