Copy and Paste

Asked by CB48_Ink

I try to use Inkscape with OS Windows Vista, Home Premium version, in French.
When I have copied (Ctrl C) an object Inkscape and I want to paste it (Ctrl V), the following alert happen:
"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an usual way."
... And after, Inkscape stop and quit.

If I try to paste data (object draw or bitmap picture) copied in an other apllication, nothing is happening, and a message display:
"Le presse-papier est vide" (In English: "clipboard is empty".)

So, I have two questions:
Is it possible to paste from Inkscape to Inkscape without crash ?
Is it possible to paste data issued from an other application ?

Thanks for your help.

yes it's possible, this has been fixed in the development version of Inkscape, grab here the latest one:
