Asked by Zech on 2018-01-24

How do I make one stroke apply to multiple objects like this https://goo.gl/images/nByXYG
And I have an extra question.

Extra question:  how do I make transparent strokes over other strokes and objects, like this https://goo.gl/images/XTnXrB and this https://goo.gl/images/nE6hL7

No simple magic buttons for this stuff... I'd make copies of the objects and use boolean operations to union, cut, combine, etc.

Okay. Third question: can I make multiple strokes like this https://goo.gl/images/ZKxV37

I'd probably work with chained linked offsets Menu: Path>Linked offset.

When it's used it looks like the current object is being expanded, but only because it has the same color, which can be changed.

The nice thing is if you go back and modify one offset, the downstream offsets adjust commensurately.
