commands inoperative

Dear all,

some icons (f.ex. layers,), first row under the menu line suddenly went unoperative. However I can perform the action by opening the menu and choosing the due option. Also at the bottom the bar by which I move horizontally on the drawing board disappeared. There is only the bar by which I move along the colour options.

How can I reestablish the above mentioned options?

Have you looked into the dock at the right and verified that the dialogs you are trying to open are not minimized? Click on their icon to maximize. You may also need to scroll down a bit in the dock, or, in some cases, it's necessary to close some dialogs there. Those are known bugs with Inkscape 0.92 (and 0.91).

As for the missing scrollbar, take a look into the View menu and its options for showing/hiding parts of the interface.
