is there a compatibility between this software about its files with illustrator files,
can we import an inkscape file to illustrator ?

is it possible to choose a high level of definition for the pdf ?
especialy when we have to send high definition files to an printing house?

is it possible to use inkscape as a professional software for professional work ?

Inkscape base file type is .svg, a well-defines open format that Ai can import.

It is a vector tool, hence the resolution for pdf does not matter, except for raster elements, that have the definition at which you import them, and filters, whose definition you choose on pdf export.

Some people already do.
