Preview Box

When I import a pic to trace and go to PATH, trace bitmap, my preview box will not pop up. can you tell me how to get it back? I was just using it. Thank you.

Look into the dock at the right side of the window. There will be an icon that you can click on, or you need to scroll down to find the dialog.
You probably minimized the dialog by clicking on the tiny triangle in its top right corner. Inkscape has a bug that doesn't maximize a minimized dialog again, when someone calls the dialog by any other way than click on its icon.
