The lines below are what shows up when I tried to open one of the links in the questions area. Is inkscape forum safe to use?

Which link was it you tried to open?

Being new to Inkscape, I was searching for some help. I stumbled upon (this) site with its question/answer forum prior to registering on it. I right clicked one of the questions to open in a new tab and that message popped up. So I was just questioning whether the site was safe or not.

Using FF myself, I don't get that message for inkscapeforum.com.
Can you try again?

https://inkscapeforum.com should be the link, as far as I understand. But if you show us which one you used, that would make things easier.

I believe that this was the exact question (660408) that I was referencing ( again, this was prior to being registered, if that makes a difference) when I right clicked that answer to open up in another tab when that Firefox warning popped up. It is located just a few down from my question on the (answers page) .

Okay, then just use this link: http://inkscapeforum.com - it's going to be the same level of safety, but Firefox won't complain.

Sorry for posting a problematic link on the other question! (but happy to see that there are some people reading the answers ;-) )

No hassle whatsoever. I just wanted to learn myself and if there was any
problems, that you guys know about it. Thanks. I'm really interested in
learning Inkscape. It looks to be laid out logically and seems to be very
powerful. I tried out Gimp a few weeks ago and it just seemed a little
clumsy.
