Fill and Stroke tools

Asked by Keld Høfler

Hi I am using the 2 options 'Stroke paint' and 'stroke style' all the time and is tired of constantly switching between those just to check each line i make. isn't it possible to remove them from their box and set them on their own box so I can see both of them all the time?

thx in advance

There is no option for this separation of tabs of the Fill and Stroke dialog in Inkscape yet.

If you would like to make a feature request, please visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape and post it as a bug report (feature requests are handled the same way).

If you would like to discuss your idea with other users and perhaps developers first, you could start a discussion about this topic on the Inkscape user mailing list:

https://sourceforge.net/p/inkscape/mailman/inkscape-user/

I don't think there is a option suiting your need. So if you has a lot of lines which have the same style, duplicates them instead of setting the style for each of them.

@Jahdo: There's always the option to copy and paste style: Ctrl+C on object with desired style, then Ctrl+Shift+V on object(s) that are meant to get that other object's style.

Thx but copy paste is not a option, i am searching for a option to see this 2 stroke paint and stroke style, because all my lines are different.
