Links in Wiki lead to apparent ad network/spam

Asked by pbhj

When I follow the link http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Extension_repository#CMYK_pdf.2Ftiff_export it goes to a spam page.

Similarly for all the links on wiki.softwarelivre.org/InkscapeBrasil/.

For example:
* go to http://wiki.softwarelivre.org/InkscapeBrasil/
* click on http://wiki.softwarelivre.org/InkscapeBrasil/ComoExtender (main menu, Extensions)
* that page forwards to http://lgmfriends.inkscapebrasil.org/lgm-head.html automatically (by javascript AFAICT)
* that page forwards, again automatically, to http://lgmfriends.inkscapebrasil.org/?z
* that page forwards in the same way to http://inclk.com/adServe/feedclick?s=EBH2Z6sJ4bXWI7W1t-dwfY8uDhK_8R6jqSLDY0h3tMlOIs3E02P7fTmkwABT_xKf9D4L8unXFreIgFSRzocUYaYZ_8dAZcE416Cb7hxfzEM4RfiIYZyFTYnUvzLR1E0OGfeEYKJw1r2AKP5aMNTYWCuQEHB3wakHmZUSNg3nDSP7LRxyfYvEZzNC9CCNPMLvtB4hI6Ui2pXfMHCzm8tZKorZKBl4cd6Vc1nG2mVCkxj0MDCcC97Pma2QEm6vxE804cPpR39vg2SC652ofdhtkFKZMYljjvlzm0A8SO04xKciHaaEXebJOYJB-Jlh1f4pinr-L_rF88N5--39Gpkk4dedt8jbkq03VOCXj3hFo0eRrCApidb2HesB-gDcfNcnR5S63pKk4SwXPP5Y8y4zaFYbIEoGksPvMN6NUwXHxC6fB2exYYkclGPDTLGIYzz8Z6U8Cqe_CPux8bh8beXg7QF_eb9dM_O5Reg_mSSex8EeTNZWA6PQ2O-bNk2dimNgtKMe41kGAwunsYJ_wxnc4tep9MCt81m_zN88K2ckJxrDR_0A_H8sO4gLMljkzvn82UhX1nRhjBPqjlbKdrvMsS1sAnjqYl7fw-MDTGmbL-uTBENSMYjcUSY_yDq3XJqNx1m0Gp4GmfCOakdJ5l9at1toUYUGa7fgCEXFzyfnukafO9WHhOQfsDXpcR9Cwlchu7f5hW9kYb5pTUGWbHim4WusVvp-7fQM3ZOW6WLsxgyQxJ77BhtjlLbaA-JJu08O2HFux6nlIqzPAgWauK6GS9TXfcDwWlXW1s_6SN_9Bt4mSe6FKMq5X93bb3ehEnRLo7cjA2UlR5NYihrt4gy_xiHqzSk-KRg7qb2PPeTclohCA2pyqQ9LY5fXHj6WtJfBPxVwFoDHbrC1FTs-rblLtPgjn5QKyssUOjNYgjBA3re77EC5oNr61ZSuT6fKD9nrQ738MrzgVC5mOm5u8LVRCUKI2q4cjuS853Kof5FRuqg9ZGaSId54AYZs8QnHRVUQ1ZD1sFgL2u1Gmfzfp-vfkFwYwoewMHvMI9bl3MDJqZDxhe2nbK4t45teBqoI69QdBTt05442G-E
* my DNS provider blocks that page as a spam network

Such extensions should be removed from the wiki until it can be verified that they've not been compromised. I'd suspect anything on that linked site to be carrying a virus.

Can you flag that link in some way as suspicious?

In the long run the extension system could do with formalising I feel, it's a massive security liability at the moment from what I can tell. A system with automated updating would be good !

I removed the link, the site probably has expired and been bought by a parking/ad network

The site works as normal for me, the direct links are:

http://wiki.softwarelivre.org/InkscapeBrasil/ExportarPDFCMYK

and

http://wiki.softwarelivre.org/InkscapeBrasil/ExportarTIFFCMYK

Perhaps they work for me, because I'm using NoScript, so no JavaScript is executed on pages where I haven't allowed this.

On these pages, I get a description of how to use the extension (in Portuguese) and links to the inx and py files (which are at http://jonata.org/inkscape/export-pdf-cmyk.py
http://jonata.org/inkscape/export-pdf-cmyk.inx
http://jonata.org/inkscape/export-tiff-cmyk.py
