Inkscape

I am getting extra shapes on my design when I save it as an svg

When I save a design as an svg and open it in design space there are extra shapes on my design in design space, but nothing shows up in inkscape when I go back to check it. Also my designs are converting in the hundreds in height and width when I open them in design space. What is going on??

Do the extra shapes appear in Inkscape when you switch to View > Views > Outline View?
If so, they are probably transparent or otherwise invisible. You can remove them easily in Outline View.

If this doesn't solve your problem, can you please share the SVG file (upload to a web hoster, like imgh.us, dropbox, google drive, or any other cloud storage, and share a link here), and also a screenshot from design space, so we can investigate?

Sorry, it's View > Display Mode > Outline.
