Bezier Envelope Extension for 0.91 on MAC will not work

Operating System: Mac OS X (10.10.5)
Inkscape version 0:91

Hello All,
I am a Inkscape beginner and I have been trying for hours to get the Bezier Envelope extension to work. I am trying to fit a text inside a custom bezier path. Every time I try the extension however, I get this message

"Inkscape has received additional data from the script executed. The script did not return an error, but this may indicate the results will not be as expected.

SyntaxError: Non-ASCII character '\x84' in file bezierenvelope.py on line 2, but no encoding declared; see http://python.org/dev/peps/pep-0263/ for details"

I would very much appreciate and advice on the matter!

Please file bug reports for extensions which are not part of the Inkscape codebase to the corresponding channel - i.e. this extension has been written by Shlomi Fish, and bug reports should go to the extension's repository on github, so the author can take a look and fix it:
