How to anchor text to object

Asked by Luca Pancioni

Dear all thank you for your attention.
I would like to anchor a textbox to an object (a square). I would like to move it and to have the possibility to modify the text.

If I group the textbox and the square I can move it but cannot modify (I should ungroup them, modify the text and regroup again).

Do you know a solution?

thanks in advance

There are lots of options:

- You can flow texts into a frame: Text -> Flow into Frame

- Or you can select the text directly with the text tool for editing, even when grouped. <- I'd use this.

- Or you can select the text directly with the mouse, when you hold down Ctrl, even when grouped.

- Or you can double-click the group to 'enter' it, without ungrouping, and then use the Selector tool to select your text.
