Text on a curved path

I have Inkscape version .92 just downloaded.

I wish to have text follow a path. The information on the manual states:

I have no such logo ie an abc sitting on a curve on this version of inkscape.

Oh and by the way I am very new to the program so maybe after four hours I have missed some salient point.

Appreciate any help.

Turns out the little abc is tinsy tiny logo, and my husband has better eyesight. For those stuggling it is in the drop down menu. Path and the logo to the left.

Yes you just have to have great specs...or a husband with excellent eyesight!

Yeah, I wanted to suggest enlarging the icons (there are settings that allow you to make some icons in the interface bigger), but those settings only affect the tool bars, not the menus.

It might work if you change your system's font size for the menus. I think the icons might adapt to the line height of the text.
