No (or not that I know of)

I would expected an answer from the marketing team or the project manager since they are the ones that are looking towards the customer demands.

Inkscape is a open source project coded and maintained by a very small team of volunteers on their free time, mainly developers. We don't have any full-time person, let alone team, so the very idea of asking to see the marketing team made me smile.
Also, since Inkscape is completely free, we don't really have any «customers» either, just… users.

So as a human being spending some of his time to answer user's questions (like yours) and as a volunteer developer spending voluntarily some of his weekends and nights improving this software, I hereby grant myself the title of marketing team member for tonight (it's almost 2AM), and I can assure you that my answer above is authoritative and means :

« I am not aware of any attempt to make any version of Inkscape work on Ipad. The mac os version is already far from perfect and we have only one dev on a mac, so I deem it unlikely, but since Inkscape is open source and on licensed with the GPL, it would technically be possible for anyone to take the code, make it work for ipads, and publish it, as long as he is also publishing the modifications made to the source code, but I am not aware of any such project. »

Can you help with this problem?
