how to delete single image on page full of images

trying to convert from pdf to svg. making a flower with ten petals but do not need the other to pieces. how to delete only these two pieces.

Depends on the contents of the pdf:

Select the object you get after import of the pdf file.
Look into the status line at the bottom.

Does it say 'group of...'? -> Ungroup, repeat.

Does it say 'image'? -> Won't work with Inkscape, use a raster graphics editor like gimp.
