handle to cusp node

When trying to do a linked offset, I get a handle to cusp node message and it will not offset. I work alot with offsets and this is a very big problem.

Ex. Add text and want to widen it and add offset borders. Click path, linked offset, grab the diamond to offset and it reverts right back to original size. Worked fine before my program crashed and then updated to the new version. My work is currently at a stand still. unless someone can help.

You can deactivate snapping by either clicking on the topmost button in the snap bar on the right of your screen, or by pressing %.
