SVG File Size

Asked by jordi

Hello I have an svg logo. His size is 695KB (too much for an svg), I resize his width and height thinking that its size will be reduced but, it has not been that way.

Any way to reduce it?

Thanks!

SVG files are not like raster/bitmap images, the filesize is determined by how many objects or nodes are used to define the content, regardless of scale/size.

It does seem to be large for a vector logo... it may have some raster/bitmap content. If there are no embedded raster/bitmap images, I'd try "document cleanup" and simplify paths.
