How would i be able to make my design look like a chalkboard drawing?

Hi Diana,

try to use a filter, for example one of these:
https://openclipart.org/search/?query=chalk+filter (Lazur is one of our most filter-knowledgeable community members).

To use them:
1. just copy the object with the filter you want to use into your new drawing
2. then open the filter editor (Filters -> Filter editor...)
3. then select the object that should have the chalk filter applied to
4. then in the filter dialog check the filter in the list to apply it to the selected object.
