Hi Daniel,

can you give us an example file (please use a file hoster and link to the file in your next comment, attachments will not work) and also tell us which is your Inkscape version (see Help -> About)?

Please also describe what result you want to achieve.

Kind Regards,
 Maren

Okay, thank you, Daniel.

I think you want to read this:

http://tavmjong.free.fr/blog/?p=1632 (for background info)

and this:

http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Release_notes/0.92#Line_Spacing (for usage info. 'strut' is just the term for linespacing set for outermost element)

(hint: the solution is to set the line spacing of the outermost element to the minimum value, using the new button for showing/setting values for the outermost element, see http://i.imgur.com/hfZRatT.png )

Btw. are you on Fedora (which seems to ship the development version...)? Or did you compile yourself? 'Inkscape 0.92.1 unknown' is a weird version string that your files contain...

Kind Regards,
 Maren
