Inkscape

drop down menus freeze

Just downloaded ver .46 and every drop down menu that I acess stays open, even when I click on the x to close it. The only way to close them is to close Inkscape. Even the File menu when I want to change properties stays open. Please help. Many thanks.

Barbara: You should try with a development version. There are several bugs of the 0.46 version already fixed in the SVN.
Browse the download section of inkscape.org and look for a recent development version and check if the problem persists.
If you still have problems, please use the Bugs section to report the issue.
