Intersection Tool.

I created a closed shape on an image and I can not cut this shape with the background of the original image through the "Intersection" option. How should I proceed?

Hi Rejane Carneiro,

from what I read, I'm guessing that you are trying to use an operation, that is meant to be used with two or more vector paths, with a vector path and a bitmap image.

You can see what Inkscape doesn't like if you take a look into the status bar at the bottom, when you try the operation.

Maybe you would like to use a clip path instead, to cut an image?
