Inkscape

unable to open a .ai file

Vectorial drawings were offered on CD in a magazine. Inkscape can't open this file AI. The displayed message is "Loading Failure of the file". What can I make? Thank you

try installing uniconvertor, then inkscape should be able to properly open .ai files
