font creation? into ttf format?

Is font creation possible in inkscape, more specifically export the selected vectors into a .ttf file type so you can use it as a font for windows?

you can't export your vector into .ttf directly from Inkscape.
but.. in the development version you have now an option to create svg fonts which can then be imported in a font editor software to turn them into .ttf.
