screen freezes for short periods when playing avi

I use dragon player, movieplayer and smplayer but with all three the screen freezes for short periods when playing avi

You are on the wrong page, questions posted here are only about Inkscape vector graphics editor.
(update your graphics card drivers if you have nvidia, try disabling compositing manager (compiz f.ex.) if you have it enabled)
