How to copy images from inkscape to openoffice writer

Asked by beanmoal

Hi,

I created a letterhead in inkscape but I need to copy that in openoffice writer in order to produce corporate letters for clients.

Does anybody know how to do that? The letterhead contains images and words.

Thanks in advance.

open openoffice.org, drag and drop your .svf file on the page, that's it.

if you have problems with the text:
1. make sure your text is "normal" and not "text flow"
- select your text, then Text menu>Convert to text.

2.if you still experience problems with the text, convert it to paths
.select your text, then Path menu > Object to Path (Shift+Ctrl+C)

To add your letterhead in openoffice.org you can also go to Insert menu > Picture > From file... , and choose your svg file.

Can you help with this problem?
