Is it possible to scale a drawing ie: 1/4"= 1'

Asked by Nina Y

If I am doing a drawing of something that is much larger than the page, is there a way to set the scale to e.g. 1mm on the page =10mm actual size?

to scale your drawing:
1. select your drawing,
2. hold control key (to keep the proportions)
3. scale your drawing with one of the arrows that appeared on it's corners.

to scale your page:
1. select your drawing
2. File menu > Document properties (or Shift+ctrl+D)
3. click on "Fit page to selection" button

 Hello Nina.
I am working with a size critical drawing and would like to scale this drawing to match the size of another drawing. I am working in inches..I want to keep the current size ratio in proportion with current. A/B = C C X B = A Thank you David
