Multimonitor troubles

Asked by Dmitry

I have three monitors system.
When I start to work and each time I select the tools panel like "Fill and Stroke" the program window goes to reset basic size and I need to move borders again to my selection.
What's wrong?

Hi Dmitry,

it's probably a bug.

What is your operating system?
Can you make a screenshot of your settings at Edit -> Preferences -> Interface -> Windows and upload it to imgh.us and post a link to it in your next comment?

Kind Regards,
 Maren

Hi Dmitry,

there have been a couple of issues with window geometry on Windows fixed during the last couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, there is no precompiled version of it available, so you can't test it :-(

Here is the corresponding bug report, I think:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1530582

Can you add some more information to it, like the Inkscape version and Windows version that you are using? This might catch the attention of a developer and will give them more info which they need to fix the problem.

Kind Regards,
 Maren

Hi Maren.

Yes it looks like my problem.
I'm use:
Inkskape 0.92.1 r15371
Windows 7x64 version 6.1 (r.7601: SP1)

It's not important of course.
Inkskape is very powerful tool but have a lot of little bugs. It's not critical but very unpleasant.

Dmitry
