convert photoshop

Asked by squazzola

I would like to know how to convert my work done with Inskape, in order to be able to use it with photoshop. I found a way, but the quality is really under expected.

Actualy, my web designer uses photoshop, so i'm currently unable to give him my logo.

Thank you for your help.

best regards,

Stephane Quazzola

export your logo to png (file menu>export bitmap).

if you need to export with layers you can save it as GIMP XCF maintaining layers (*.XCF), and then save it as a photoshop file from gimp.

If your web designer can't use an SVG file he's probably not a web designer.

Exporting a graphic construction as HTML from Photoshop doesn't make you a web designer. FWIW.

There are a few gotchas with PNG files in multiple versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE up to and including IE7 in which there are overflow/transparency problems), if your PNG files make it to the final site and IE is on your testing list (70%+ of internet users) then you should ask if the PNG files will render properly for IE users.

Particularly note the gamma error bug in IE7, http://blog.netscraps.com/internet-explorer-bugs/ie6-ie7-png-gama-bug-makes-pngs-darker.html.

Can you help with this problem?
