Inkscape

How do I import EPS files? Inkscape doesn't seem to support them. Is there some patch I could download in order to view EPS files on Inkscape?

I need to view some EPS files, but I Inkscape doesn't want to view them. Is there some way I could?
The question was asked in 2008 and 2009, is there an answer?

Try a development version. The EPS importer has been improved.
In the download section of inkscape.org you will find links to devel versions of Inkscape.
