Multi-Page Support?

Is there any hope in the near future to have multi-page support in Inkscape?

I'm asking this in desperation :)
I tried to use Scribus for the layouts, but the export-import + working in Scribus is a serious workflow interrupter.

I know CorelDraw has this, Freehand, even Illustrator CS4 finally has this, but these programs are way too expensive.
I'd pay money for Inkscape if the price would be reasonable and if it would make the development faster...

So, is there any hope?
