too many heap section

Hello.
I'm trying to modify a pdf of about 500 kb generated by processing. I can import the file properly, but from that point on I cant do any editing, ungroup or export because im getting a crush with the mesage "too many heap section".

my machine runs win xp with 2 gb ram.

I have found this happens if you have a large image file or many image files in the document. Do not know what the answer is, it happens with images embedded and not embedded.

The page title states 'fatal error in GC' when the pop box states 'too many heap sections'. Not sure if this will help the technies out there work out what causes the problem. Inkscape closes down afer the message.
