I can't export from lnkscape to OpenOffice

No, your right. They are different formats.

Try saving as EPS they open in OOo Draw but I don't think you can get any of the transparency that way. Just try a few different formats and see which works best.

Inkscape do save as .odg, by using File>Save as, and selecting odg as export format.
Works for me with Ubuntu 8.10, Inkscape 0.46 (and dev version 20250).
What's exactly your problem pnhj? A bug during save process? Something else?

I have no answer, this also occurs to me. However, it seems the .odg file create has a bad CRC - at least that's the error reported when I try and open the file using archive manager. The content of the file seems fine, but if I recreate the archive package it still complains, and crashes OpenOffice.

I'm running 64-bit Ubuntu 8.10, Inkscape 0.46, and OOo 2.4

Can you help with this problem?
