How do I flatten my created image?

Asked by Clay

I've designed a logo with inkscape. how can I flatten it so i can transfer it into different programs without the file appearing to be corrupt, or the image not processing properly? I didn't see a "flatten image" function anywhere.

I think it's a bug but as I recall if you "select all in all layers" and then group all the objects they then are pushed into the same layer. Then remove other layers manually.

Perhaps you'd be better exporting the image as a raster?

Exporting to raster: File->Export to bitmap.
