how to use duplex

Asked by Stephanie Lydon

I have created a page, however i want to create another page and make them both duplex. I want to create another page but put it back to back with the other one. I have tried clicking duplicate but nothing seems to happen. Can you use duplex with Inkscape?

Sadly SVG does not have multipage support. This could be achieved with groups with special attributes, but it is not done yet, and is a workaround.

If I understand you correct, you are trying to get it print to either side of the paper, because your printer has duplex unit.
You can either do it non-duplex way printing one side from one inkscape document, putting the paper back to printer and printing the other from other document.
Also you could save inkscape files to PDF, concatenate these, 'pdftk *.pdf cat' does it, and print it from acrobat or evince or whatever pdf viewer.

Can you help with this problem?
