How to determine all pathes that intersects another one programmtically?

Asked by Juriy

Hello!

I make the inner extension of inkscape. It should be like action from some effect menu. The command should (at first version) automatically connect the open path (that is connector) to underneath element with specific naming convention.

And first step is to understand how can I get all SPShapes (I think this is the class that represents my elements at canvas) that allocated nearly to ending (one of two) of chosen path?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Juriy,

can you please ask this on the developer mailing list, explaining a bit about your goal in a lot more detail?
I don't expect you'll get a satisfying answer here.

I'm not a developer, and there's only one developer who sometimes answers questions here.

Kind Regards,
 Maren
