How to cut a person from one photo to another in inkscape

Inkscape is a vector graphics tool, and thus not really the appropriate application for photo editing. Gimp (https://gimp.org), for example, is a great tool to do this.

That said, here's a nice tutorial for clipping and cropping in Inkscape:
