Add Document Properties option for Preferences>Tools>Text>Text units

It would be a useful feature to have a preference/settings option in the Document Properties metadata which provides the same functionality for individual documents as the global Edit>Preferences>Tools>Text>Text units>Text size unit type option.
This would allow individual documents to use different units instead of the global default Points (pt) for font size in text toolbars and text dialogs without changing the global option. There's a document specific "Default units" (File>Document Properties>Page>General) so it would be a great idea to have a "Text units" option here because default units doesn't include text.
If a user wants to keep the units simple in an image by using only one type, it would be really useful to be able to use that unit for text as well as all other lengths without changing the global option.

Please add this small improvement to continue making Inkscape the comprehensive, well designed, modern great vector graphics drawing application than it is.

Hi Edward,

can you please make the feature request in the bug section? This section here is for answering user questions, developers will probably not even see it.

If you would like to discuss the proposed feature first, you can post a message to the user or developer mailing list.

Sorry, I just found the "Ask Us a Question" link in the Inkscape Help menu which seemed to be the only feature/bug reporting link from the Inkscape application then didn't notice the "Bugs" section of the Inkscape Launchpad site, which is more appropriate.
I'll mark this question as "Problem solved" then recreate it in the "Bugs" section marked as a feature request.
