Hi Philip,

a quick web search tells me that Roland Cut Studio is a software that sends instructions to a vinyl cutter produced by a company named Roland, and that it appears to use .eps as its native format, but seems to be quite picky about what kind of .eps file it accepts.

I think you've got these options:

- find out what kind of eps the software can load (or if it might have advanced a bit since those posts were made), and then come back and tell us, so we can tell you if it's possible to produce that kind of eps from Inkscape.

- visit a forum that is dedicated to cutting / plotting, and ask other users of the software there, e.g. http://www.inkscapecuttingdesign.com/smf/

- try a different software that can talk to your plotter, e.g. https://www.timewasters-place.com/inkscape-and-plotters-the-3rd/ , which is know to work with (or rather, from) Inkscape.

I would probably go with a combination of the last two options, and drop that CutStudio thing. Finding out the things from the first option will take a lot of time, which could better be invested into learning how to apply existing solutions that are known to work.

Kind Regards,
 Maren
