can't get my inkscape to upload right to cricut design space

when I try to upload the saying it says in is an Unsupported Svg items---will be dropped--Pattern Fills--Import anyway? Does it matter if it is a png file? I am new to this, so any help is appreciated.

Hi Teresa,

if I understand correct.y. you have saved your file in Inkscape (which file format?) and then are now hitting a problem when trying to import into a software called 'cricut design space'.

I don't have that software, so I could only guess here.

So I think the best place to ask this question is either in the support forum for the 'cricut design space', or to look around in this forum: http://www.inkscapecuttingdesign.com/smf/ and ask your question there. Be sure to include the file that causes problems in your post there, so people can try it out.
