saving as svg and shapes do not create proper cut lines

I've been using Inkscape for over a year now to create SVG files. Recently shapes are not saving properly. I've tried saving as an inkscape svg and a regular one. When I go to open in my cutting program, the full shape is not cutting....only periodic areas. I've re-downloaded the program in case there was some sort of update, but that still did not fix the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Kortney,

could you give us an example of a file that works and one that doesn't? Maybe then we'll be able to figure out what the problem is.

Please upload the files to some file hosting website and post a link here. Attachments are not supported. You can use sites like dropbox, google drive, framadrop, or any other publicly accessible file hosting.
