engraver missing when trying to convert text to gcode

when i try to convert text to gcode after going to path then i try extensions but there is no engraver in extensions can some one please help

Hi Roger,

I assume you're following some kind of tutorial somewhere. Could you post a link to it so we can know what you mean? (if it's a video, please include a timestamp of where to look).

Also tell us which Inkscape version you are using. Gcodetools extensions are only shipped with Inkscape from version 0.91 on. If you're using a different Inkscape version, consider to upgrade, or install gcodetools from the original source:
https://github.com/cnc-club/gcodetools

If there is a program missing that is needed by the extension, Inkscape will write that into the log file that resides next to your user preferences file (see Edit > Preferences > System: User preferences). You can also post that log file, if you are certain that you have the extension installed on your computer.
