Inkscape

I cannot write or modify my svg document in any way

After I worked in my svg file for a while, for no apparent reason, my document froze, and now I am not able to modify it, select layers, etc...
Inkscape is still working fine with other documents. I tried to open the problematic svg file in another machine and I get the same problem. Please help me, it is an important file :S

I think it will be hard for anyone to work out what's wrong without being able to examine the SVG file. Can you post the file somewhere for us to look at?

Ok, I solved it. The layer (all the content in the svg file) was locked.
