How do I open .eps files? Thanks

I would like to know how to open .eps files with 0.46. Thank you.

It may well be the inncorrect type of .eps file it may need something such as evince or ghostscript to read it.

With Inkscape 0.46, it's often better to convert the EPS to PDF (using Ghostscript's ps2pdf, for example), and then open the PDF.

It's possible to open EPS files directly in Inkscape 0.46, but you need to have pstoedit installed, and the results are not always good.
