Inkscape

I'm having trouble filling circles.

When I use the circle or square tool, they don't fill - when I attempt to fill them either by clicking a swatch on the toolbar or using the fill bucket, they remain unfilled. When I manually draw a shape, that shape is filled and can be filled by clicking on a swatch or using the fill bucket. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Dave,

I'm not 100% sure in this case, but I think that you're trying to set a transparent fill.

Take a look at these instructions about how to work with transparency in Inkscape, to find a solution:
