I need to open *.cdr files with INKSCAPE

Hi Manuel,

as of version 0.91, Inkscape can import CDR (CorelDraw) natively.

Use the File -> Open dialog, and select the correct file format from the list (there's more than one .cdr!), then the file.

If it doesn't work, please provide more details about your operating system, Inkscape version, any error messages and upload the file somewhere (attachments do not work here, use a file hoster like dropbox, google drive or framadrop) - or browse the bug section at https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape yourself to find out if this is a known problem.

Thanks, in fact I have tried to import .cdr files the way you say. Anyway I can't still open them, and I think the problem is that the files are X8. And the .cdr format listed on the open dialog is until X4. Does anybody know if it will be available to open .cdr files until the X8 version?
